Aura Garrido is an Spanish actor who is active in both TV and film. Her roles included films including Stockholm as well as the TV show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido came into the world in Madrid in the year 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez paints. Her first piano lessons at just four years old. She shortly after that, she began to study ballet. Her best friend was an English speaking person, and she learned English through her. After finishing her high school studies her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. She studied interpretation for three years, with a focus on translation of text. However, she left at the end of 2010 after she secured the role of Planes para manana. The film was nominated for the Goya Award in the category of best emerging actor, and was awarded the Silver Biznaga award for her performance in the film.
