Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and went on a 3-fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round of each fight. After that, she went to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as an amateur were destroyed. Ladd returned from her defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen took on Hoy and finished her at the end of round two via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last bout for the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Ladd continued to dominate with a stunning victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Sijara Eubanks, a member of Invicta FC, was her opponent in another rematch in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first fight in a major tournament. The two fighters had an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision with both fighters claiming one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her streak of winning. After a break of a few seconds before returning to take on Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
